Gordon Academic College of Education continues to make its mark on the international stage by advancing educational initiatives that promote equality and coexistence in a diverse society. Our recent success in securing two grants from American Hub Israel demonstrates our commitment to fostering shared living through innovative educational training.
The approved proposals are designed to enhance education for democracy and social engagement by utilizing cutting-edge tools such as virtual reality and makerspaces. These innovative approaches aim to provide immersive and interactive learning experiences that bridge diverse communities.
The first training program will incorporate virtual reality technology to offer participants a dynamic platform for exploring complex ideas and enhancing their understanding of democratic values and social responsibility.
The second training will take place within a makerspace environment. This space will serve as a safe and collaborative setting where participants can engage in meaningful discourse using a variety of tools and technologies. The hands-on approach will encourage creativity and dialogue, fostering an inclusive atmosphere where diverse perspectives can thrive.
Training cycles for both programs are set to begin in December 2024. These initiatives underline Gordon College's dedication to leading progressive education efforts that support a shared and equitable society.
