Teaching and administrative staff at Gordon are able to spend a period of time in another participating country with the aim of improving their skills, enhancing their employability; gaining greater understanding and responsiveness to social, linguistic and cultural diversity;  increasing quality of their work and activities in favor of students and increasing their motivation and satisfaction in their daily work.

 

Staff Training

As a staff member you can make use of this funding possibility to follow a training programme within Europe. The aim of an Erasmus+ Staff Training is to gain knowledge or new insights from colleagues or projects in another institute of higher education. These possibilities include  1-on-1 job shadowing or attending an International Staff Training Week.

Your stay abroad must last 5 days (excluding travel days). The grant includes a fixed amount for travel compensation and a daily allowance for expensesThe application form for Erasmus+ Staff Training needs to be submitted by e-mail ([email protected] ) at least 6 weeks before the start of the activity. Please include on this form details of the training programme and signatures from yourself, your supervisor and the contact person at the receiving institution (that you are visiting). 

Staff Teaching

Teaching staff may apply for an Erasmus+ Staff Teaching grant. The teaching may only take place at an institution with which your relevant faculty has a bilateral Erasmus+ agreement. These teaching periods may take 5 days (excluding travel days), with a minimum of 8 teaching hours.  The grant includes a fixed amount for travel compensation and a daily allowance for expenses. The application form for Erasmus+ Staff Teaching needs to be submitted by e-mail

([email protected] ) at least 6 weeks before the start of the activity. Please include on this form details of the teaching programme and signatures from yourself, your supervisor and the contact person at the receiving institution (that you are visiting).

  • How to Apply

     

    Please submit the following documents to [email protected]  :

    1. Gordon's Application Form 
    2. Current CV
    3. Letter stating your motivation for applying for the Erasmus+ scholarship and describing the activities planned for the duration of the mobility in the host university. Describe whether you have an existing cooperation with the host university and/or if there is an intention to develop such cooperation in the future.
    4. Copy of the first page on your passport
    5. Mobility agreement- A “Mobility Agreement for StaffMobility Agreement for Teachers” sets out the programme of teaching / training to be followed, it defines the components of the teaching or training period abroad and emphasizes the mutual responsibility for the quality of the mobility of both the sending institution and the receiving institution.

    The final decision regarding the academic and administrative staff admitted to this program will be taken by a committee overseen by the President's office.
