Gordon College of Education Secures Three Grants to Enhance Regional Cooperation in Higher Education
The International Center
In alignment with the initiative to support higher education institutions promoting regional cooperation for the 2024-2025 academic year, Gordon College of Education is proud to announce its success in winning three significant grants.
Research Grant on Hate Speech: In collaboration with researchers from Kosovo and North Macedonia, this grant will examine the issue of hate speech targeting journalists during times of war and conflict. The project aims to understand and address the challenges faced by media professionals in volatile environments.
Grant for International Workshops: Focused on early childhood education, this grant will facilitate workshops that explore general topics, with a special emphasis on children with special needs. These workshops will highlight successes and challenges faced in Israel, Montenegro, and Georgia, promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Grant for Incoming Students: This grant will enable Gordon College to host 18 students from Sofia University in Bulgaria for the summer semester in 2025. During their stay, the students will engage in an immersive Hebrew language study program, fostering cross-cultural understanding and language skills.
These grants are designed to improve relations among regional countries as defined by the ministry and are expected to pave the way for future collaborations. Gordon College remains committed to advancing education and international cooperation through these impactful initiatives.
