Gordon Academic College Hosts Diplomats from Zambian Embassy

On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, Gordon Academic College of Education had the pleasure of welcoming four diplomats from the Embassy of Zambia in Israel. This visit came on the heels of the college signing a contract with UNICEF Zambia to provide consultancy services to the Zambian Ministry of Education, specifically aimed at developing a comprehensive Teacher Training Strategy in partnership with the Faculty of Education at the University of Zambia, Lusaka.

During their visit, the diplomats engaged in fruitful discussions with President Prof. Yoel Mansfield and the team at the International Center, led by Dr. Eli Vinokour. They toured the college's cutting-edge technological labs, gaining firsthand insight into the advanced educational and pedagogical technologies in use. Prof. Rhonda Sofer presented the activities of the International Center and detailed the newly initiated UNICEF project in Zambia, which began in May.

The visit concluded with a light lunch meeting at the International Center, fostering a warm and collaborative atmosphere. Gordon Academic College places great importance on international partnerships and looks forward to strengthening collaborations with Zambia in the future
