Gordon College Concludes Consultancy on Montenegro’s Teacher Professional Development System
In October 2024, Gordon Academic College of Education launched a five-month international consultancy to assess Montenegro's Teacher Professional Development (TPD) system, in collaboration with experts from the University of Montenegro.
The project combined qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver a culturally grounded, evidence-based evaluation, drawing on both local perspectives and international expertise.
On April 1st, Dr. Anat Abramovich and Shadia Sbait, M.A., presented the team’s recommendations to the Bureau for Education and Ministry of Education representatives in Podgorica. The session included a lively discussion and Q&A. Two weeks later, the final report was submitted and officially approved by UNICEF Montenegro.
