A delegation from Gordon Academic College of Education recently visited the University College of Teacher Education Upper Austria (PH Oberösterreich) in Linz, Austria, as part of an Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme, reaffirming the institution's ongoing commitment to meaningful international academic cooperation.
The delegation was composed of Prof. Ilana Levenberg, President of Gordon Academic College of Education, alongside Dr. Eli Vinokur, VP for Strategy and Academic Development and Head of the International Center; Prof. Raisa Guberman, Dean of the Bachelor (B.Ed.) and Teaching Certificate Programs; Prof. Shai Rudin, Head of the Early Childhood Education Program; Dr. Merv Hemi, Psychologist, Lecturer and Lead Simulation Researcher; and Ms. Shadia Sbait, International Projects Manager.
The visit comprised a comprehensive programme of professional meetings and knowledge exchange with university leadership, the International Office, researchers, and academic experts. Discussions spanned a broad range of topics central to contemporary higher education, including teacher education, educational leadership, research collaboration, internationalisation, early childhood education, vocational education, inclusion, digital transformation, and educational innovation.
Beyond formal meetings, the delegation had the opportunity to visit laboratory schools, vocational education institutions, and early childhood education settings. These visits offered valuable firsthand exposure to innovative educational approaches and best practices, and helped identify new avenues for future collaboration between the two institutions.
The exchange underscored Gordon Academic College's dedication to fostering international partnerships that promote academic excellence and advance global cooperation in higher education.
