Gordon Academic College Contributes to International
ERASMUS+ IMPACT Event

On 23,3,2026, a successful online multiplier event, “Highlighting the IMPACT of IMPACT” brought together 104 participants from Israel and abroad. The event marked a key milestone in the ERASMUS+ Virtual Exchange project IMPACT, an international initiative connecting institutions from Europe, Israel, and Morocco to promote intercultural dialogue, collaborative learning, and innovative pedagogies.
Gordon Academic College of Education played a prominent role in the event. Prof. Rhonda Sofer, Coordinator for Gordon College of this program, served as moderator, guiding the discussions and presenting the project’s vision and outcomes. Dr. Stan Sofer, Head of Academic Quality Assurance, contributed as a discussion leader, sharing key insights on lessons learned and future directions for COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and Virtual Exchange initiatives.
Participants from partner institutions reflected on the project’s wide-ranging impact at the individual, departmental, and institutional levels, highlighting its contribution to teaching practices, student engagement, and international collaboration.
“The IMPACT project demonstrates how meaningful international collaboration can transform teaching and learning, fostering not only digital competencies but also mutual understanding across cultures,” noted Prof. Rhonda Sofer.
The event highlighted Gordon College’s active involvement in international initiatives that promote innovation, dialogue, and excellence in education.
