Gordon Academic College of Education is expanding its international activity through a large-scale Young Leaders Program in cooperation with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, bringing groups of young participants from around the world to Haifa for an intensive educational experience.
The program offers participants an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Israel through historical, educational and contemporary perspectives. It combines topics related to the Bible and Jewish history with modern Israel, leadership, communication and public opinion, critical thinking, antisemitism and delegitimization, innovation, and the Israeli education system.
During the three-day program at Gordon, participants take part in lectures, interactive workshops, simulations and discussions, alongside experiential activities and exposure to Gordon’s innovative educational and technological environments. A central focus is placed on developing the ability to critically evaluate information, engage with complex questions, and communicate knowledge in an informed and responsible way.
Gordon has already welcomed two groups from Taiwan , with approximately 150 participants. Beginning in October, the program will expand significantly, with more than 1,000 additional participants expected from different countries and regions, including Taiwan, Singapore, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
