Double Win for Gordon College: Two Erasmus+ Capacity-Building Projects Secured
We are thrilled to announce that Gordon Academic College of Education has secured funding for two major international projects under the prestigious Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) scheme. These projects reflect a significant recognition of Gordon’s leadership in promoting peace, innovation, and equity through education—both nationally and across continents.
HOPE – Higher Education for Openness, Peace & Empathy
This project brings together universities from Greece, Germany, and Israel, aiming to position higher education institutions at the forefront of peace education, reconciliation, and conflict transformation. The initiative seeks to empower universities to develop and implement cutting-edge curricula that equip students and professionals with the knowledge, values, and skills to address conflicts in both social and professional contexts.

MANDELA – Multilateralism through Negotiation and Cultural Diplomacy Education in the Levant and Africa
This ambitious multiregional project brings together academic and civil society partners from Israel, Ghana, Ethiopia, Germany, Austria, and Romania. Funded under the Erasmus+ CBHE program, MANDELA promotes cross-regional cooperation between Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and supports capacity building in cultural diplomacy and conflict-sensitive education.
