The International Center

As part of the eTACCHE project, Gordon Academic College of Education proudly led two highly successful international webinars exploring the transformative role of Virtual Reality (VR) and interactive media tools in education and cultural heritage learning.

🔹 On April 18, 2025, Gordon College hosted
“Unlocking the Potential of Virtual Reality in Education”—an inspiring session on integrating immersive technologies into teaching and learning.

🔹 On May 21, 2025, the college led
“Immersive Heritage: Exploring Culture Through VR and ThingLink in Education”—focusing on digital storytelling and intercultural learning through immersive tools.

Together, the two webinars brought together over 100 participants from across Europe and beyond—including teacher educators, researchers, students, and cultural heritage professionals.

These events were organized and led by the Gordon College team, under the coordination of Shadia Sbait, Gordon’s International Project Manager and the eTACCHE project lead.

The content and implementation of the project in Israel are guided by Dr. Ariella Levenberg and Zlil Busnach, who are playing a central role in shaping the educational vision and activities within the national context.

These webinars reflect Gordon College’s strong leadership and its commitment to advancing inclusive, innovative, and culturally rich teacher education through international collaboration.

Recordings will be available soon on our YouTube channel and project website. Stay tuned!
